OAuth and OpenID Connect integrations for account access

Let customers or staff use an existing identity provider without handing passwords to your application. We distinguish sign-in from permission to call an API and define how the external identity connects to your local account.

PAYMENT BY PROJECT MILESTONES

Approve a result. Pay for the next milestone.

We agree the scope and prepare the first prototype before the first payment. You can review the proposed structure and customer journey before deciding to proceed.

Your first prototype, before payment

The agreed initial prototype covers the key page or customer journey. For SEO, advertising and other projects without an interface, the first reviewable result is a proposed work plan. The number of screens and revisions is agreed in the brief.

  1. 0130%

    After prototype approval

You approve the prototype or work plan and pay 30% of the agreed project price. We then begin implementation.

  2. 0230%

    After the working version

We demonstrate the agreed main pages and functions, or the named project deliverables. Once you accept this milestone, the next 30% is due.

  3. 0340%

    After project acceptance

We complete the agreed checks, deliver the project and hand over the agreed materials and access. The remaining 40% is paid after acceptance.

This schedule applies to projects with a fixed scope. Monthly work and small hourly tasks have separately agreed terms. Advertising spend, hosting, licences and third-party fees are listed separately in the proposal.

We deliver remotely. Briefing, reviews and handover take place online, with the meeting times and working language agreed in advance.

HOW WE WORK

Choose the flow that matches the task

Scope, selection criteria and practical delivery details.

OAuth delegates access; OpenID Connect adds an identity layer for sign-in. The provider must support the required capability.

We specify the customer journey and requested permissions before registering the application and its redirect addresses.

Link accounts without guessing ownership

An external identity is mapped using the provider's stable identifiers. Matching an email address alone is not a universal account-linking rule.

We agree existing-account confirmation, organization membership and local roles. Successful provider sign-in does not automatically grant administrator access.

Test rejected and expired connections

Implementation follows the provider's supported flow and current security guidance, including PKCE where applicable and validation of returned identity data.

Vladimir Nikolaev checks canceled consent, repeated callbacks and expired sessions with you. Provider approval and enterprise identity subscriptions are separately scoped.

Questions before we start

Questions before we start

Answered by Vladimir Nikolaev.

Are OAuth and login the same thing?

No. Provider login generally needs an identity mechanism such as OpenID Connect.

Can existing users connect their accounts?

Yes, with an explicit ownership-confirmation flow.

Will external login determine staff rights?

Local roles follow your agreed access model, not sign-in alone.

Can users remove the connection?

Yes, with defined revocation and alternative access behavior.
